Security & privacy
Your family's most private data. Handled like it.
No badges, no buzzwords. This page lists exactly how Wealth Vision protects your account and your data, so you can judge for yourself.
Signing in
Strong sign-in, your choice of how.
Passkeys
Sign in with Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello or a hardware security key. Nothing to phish, nothing to reuse.
Two-factor authentication
Add a code from an authenticator app or email to your password, with one-time backup codes for emergencies.
Email one-time codes
Sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email, instead of a password.
Google sign-in
Use your Google account if you prefer, and its own protections come with it.
Your data
Where it lives, and what we never ask for.
Stored in India
Your data is stored on AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1).
Encrypted in transit, twice
All traffic uses HTTPS, and the data inside every request and response is additionally encrypted with AES-256.
Passwords are hashed
Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes. Nobody, including us, can read them.
Last 4 digits only
Cards are saved by their last four digits. Wealth Vision never asks for a full card number or CVV.
No bank or broker logins
We don't connect to your bank or broker, so we never ask for those passwords.
Rate-limited codes
Requests for one-time codes are rate-limited to slow down anyone trying to guess them.
Sessions & sharing
Control over who sees what.
Signed out after 45 minutes idle
Walk away from a shared computer and your session ends on its own, with a warning first.
Family visibility controls
Each family member sees only the records you allow.
Activity log
See who changed what, and when, across the family account.
DPDP Act, 2023
Your rights, built into the app.
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act gives you rights over your data. In Wealth Vision they're buttons in Settings → Privacy & DPDP, not an email address to chase.
Access & download
Download a summary of your personal data as a PDF or text file.
Correction
Fix anything that's wrong, directly or by request.
Consent control
Core processing needs consent; communications and telemetry are optional and can be withdrawn.
Nominee
Name someone to exercise your data rights if you die or can't act yourself (Section 14).
Grievances
Raise a grievance in the app and track its resolution (Section 13).
Erasure
Ask for your account and data to be erased, subject to legal obligations (Section 12).
Adding a child records verifiable guardian consent, as the Act requires.
