What we collect, why, where it's stored, and how to use your rights under India's DPDP Act, 2023. The same notice you accept inside the app.

Our notice
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), Wealth Vision collects and processes your personal, family and financial asset information strictly for the purpose of aggregated portfolio tracking, net worth calculation, insurance management and family wealth insights. Processing of this data is essential to provide you with core portfolio aggregation and analytics services.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number and sign-in credentials (passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes).
- Family details: the members you add and their relationship to you. For children, a record of guardian consent.
- Financial records you enter: investments, insurance policies, bank accounts, cards (last four digits only), lockers, income, expenses, budgets, goals and accounting entries.
- Security records: trusted devices, passkeys and an activity log of changes.
What we don't collect
- Bank or broker login credentials. Wealth Vision does not connect to your bank or broker.
- Full card numbers or CVVs.
Consent
Processing your portfolio records is required for the service to work, so it needs your consent to use Wealth Vision. Communications and platform telemetry are optional: you choose them separately and can withdraw them at any time in Settings → Privacy & DPDP.
Where your data is stored and who processes it
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): cloud infrastructure, encrypted database storage and file hosting, in AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1).
- Valueye Cloud Services: application hosting and encrypted data processing, in India.
- A transactional email and SMS gateway: sign-in codes, security alerts and system messages, in India.
Your rights
You can use each of these from Settings → Privacy & DPDP inside the app:
- Access a summary of your personal data and download it as a PDF or text file.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Withdraw optional consents.
- Nominate a person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to act (Section 14).
- Raise a grievance and track its resolution (Section 13).
- Request erasure of your account, subject to applicable legal obligations (Section 12).
